Pissdrunx0420 Mars LED Grow in Coco- Golden Goat and Kosher Kush clones

Hello Grass City its been awhile since i have posted anything and i figured id post my new grow as i have a few grows under my belt now and feel i can provide some better info on how i raise my plants, so without further distractions here id the setup.



<span style="font-size: 14px;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">Strains:</span></span> Golden Goat (dispensary bagseed 50/50 hydrid) Roslyn Road (dispensary bagseed Indica dom hybid) clones i took from my last grow


Grow medium: Both will be grown in a 3 part coco 1 part perlite mix


Grow Stage: Both ladys are 4 weeks from the switch from 12/12 and are almost 3 months from rooting


Pot Size: they are in 5 gallon pots, both started in solo cups then places in 1 gallon pots for the first month after rooting


Lighting: MarsHydro 144x5 reflector light, the new version has the 5 watt chips and couldnt be happier with the results so far


Grow Area: i will be using a 4'x2'x5' grow tent i got from ebay with a 4" 13 watt duct fan


Nutes: i have been using and will finish off this grow with General Hydroponics Performance Pack nutes. i water and feed once a day with full strength nutes and give the sugested flush that comes on the feed chart.


I started this grow PHing at 5.5-5.8 and was informed by a few growers that upping that to 6.0-6.2 would help with mag uptake and be better for a plant in coco and under LED but the leaves on the golden goat have yellowed a little bit since making the change so i will be going back to 5.5.

i had these plants rotating under T5 and mars led lighting in veg and then moved under the mars reflector 144x5 for flower and will keep it under the LEDs for the entire flower. i also have a 4x4 tent with a mars 2 900 and 4' 4 bulb t5 that im growing some dreamwalker and kosher kush. im hopin to get my growing locked in as im going to hit 1 year growing soon and still have problems in flower so we'll see haha

haha i dont feel the lights are the main issue. im still pretty new to growing only been at it for about 1.5 years but getting ok results just need to figure out a few things with my grow but thanx for stopping my man

 

Week 5 Flower Update<span style="font-size: 18px;">

<span style="font-size: 10px;"><span class="redactor-invisible-space"><span class="redactor-invisible-space"><span style="font-size: 14px;">Ive made and auto drip system for my plants as they are in coco and i want to be able to water them 2-3 times a day and see if it seems to help at all. both plants are still developing there buds nicly but im starting to get more yellowing from the golden goat on the lower and mid leaves that is not natural. i plan on running all plants of the same strain next time so i can mess with nutes more. other then the slight yellowing the plants are nice and frosty and starting to smell nice and skunky. i am watering 3 times a day now with minimal runoff each time i water sometimes none at all and still at full strength nutes on the Gen Hydro perf pack. </span></span></span></span>

Here is the Roslyns Road, she is looking amazing with no problems and buds seem to be coming in really nice. her inter nodes are very close together and do not branch out much so she really has the potential to make big dense cola's









and the Golden Goat, i included a pic of the yellowing lower leaves. the leaves almost look like nitrogen def but i also see some spotting on the leaves which is what happened to the mother when i flowered her and i ended up making things worse when i uped the N so im going to just flush, PH and feed on my next day off. she is still looking good though, the buds are more spaced apart and the internoded really grow out and look like they will be lots of littler nugs. still look nice and frosty so im happy as long as it turns out simlar to the buds the mom put out

 

and the thumbnails in the last post are of the auto drip sytem i made so i dont have to mix nutes and and water everyday. i have a little better view of the sytem in my next vid that i will post this weekend. i will be upgrading it to 4 plants as the pump is to powerful for just 2 plants but still works well if only on for 5 seconds. the sprayers are in a circle so it drips around the entire base 3 times a day.

 

ya i agree but im trying to get as much wattage as i can in that tent so i have the T5 and the mars2 lights in there as well

Week 6 of Flower

so the yellowing is slowing but still spreading and i finally found out what the cause is. i mixed my nutes at 5.8 and the runoff was coming back at 4.8 so the PH is WAY below where it should be so i will be flushing with 5 gallons of clean water untill the runoff comes out to 5.8 then give a light feeding. the buds havent really been filling in as much as i would like but im sure that due to the lockouts that the PH problem is causing. i still plan on giving these girls another 3 weeks maybe even 4.


Golden Goat has the bigger buds but also has the worse damage from the PH problem with most of her lower leaves having to be pulled. the smell is still outstanding and frosty like none other so im still hopeful that she will end up producing some amazing meds.





Roslyn Road is yellowing less but her buds are staying much smaller than expected. her buds are starting to purple very nicly but still feel that the buds will get bigger and give a decent yield once i get the PH right. there is also some foxtailing going on this plant that im not to happy with but it is still very frosty so as long as the quality stays i dont mind too much. lost comment on her is she smells exactly like Parmesan cheese!! its crazy but i rubbed some suger leaves and smelled my fingers and it was like smelling freshly ground Parmesan

finally just some bud shots from the last coco grow

 

im going to give them another 3-4 weeks and maybe even 5 for the golden goat just depends on when the trichomes on the buds start turning amber and you see no clear heads on the resin glands. and your in the time the buds should be fattening up so im sure youll get some weight man.


i got 137 gram as the main colas last run and 156 with all the smokable nugs so about 1/2 gram per watt, not to bad i think and hope fully it will only get better from there
