update: 2 more bag seed within the week I started all grew. 3 different strains. [(Sativa, unknown)small pot, (indica, black diamond OG)small pot, (indica, unknown strain) large pot. Pictures being uploaded as I type.
http://imgur.com/a/lhR99 I think the first closeup picture is male flowers, second would be bud? The male I believe is an indica and the female is a sativa.( both the brown small pots) the large pot is filled with an indica of an unknown sex. Anyone have any clues? I think I should remove the small indica to harvest pollen seperatly. The small indica is black diamond OG.
I checked out those pictures but they aren't the greatest of quality so I couldn't tell if its showing sex yet Looks like the brown spots are new leaf growth so you may have some nute issues there, but hard to tell with those pics The male parts will look like clusters of balls, and I find you usually have about a week from when they start to appear until when they drop pollen, so maybe give it a couple more days and check up on it. If it is male, you can separate it and cut off a branch that has a bunch of pod clusters on it and put into a small solo cup with water like you would with flowers. It should keep it alive long enough to allow to pollen to drop. I would put a clear bag around it and maybe tape it closed, and you can shake the branch and pollen will collect in the bag. Just make sure to wash tour clothes/hair/body before dealing with any of your female plants, pollen clings to everything lol
the browning is from light burn xD its easy to keep the CFLs far from the lights, but that's not what we want is it? XD I've moved the one I assume is male outside, for now, and took a cutting as you said I should. Sorry about the quality I only have my S5 to take pictures with no magnifying lenses. I am using a homade nutrient solution. It is fermented fruit and it seems to be having no negative effects. In a couple days I will post some better pictures. Thanks for your reply it means a lot to me
uploading an update now, we have two male indica and one female sativa! Just as I suspected! (Correct me if I'm wrong please)
too late to transplant? Will it stun her? http://imgur.com/sLAOn9b So happy that at least one female grew! I hear breeding a female sativa with an indica is the best for starting a strain, would it be worth it to leave my male in to get seeds and then re-vegging?
My plant doesn't seem to enjoy being super cropped, needed to remove a nug that was growing downwards into the soil and not healing I assume its due to the fact I'm not vegging or providing veg nutrients.
You cropped too much, shes gonna die. why the hell you removed so many leaves with so little power confuses the hell out of me. Mate, why. lol. anyway. let her heal!
i removed fan leaves to see if she would put more effort towards the growth of the leaves in the buds, I assume the browning is due to the leaves being removed also. No more trimming will be done until the harvest.
Theres always next grow man If you can scratch together some coin, Id suggest delving into the LED world. If your after Low elec costs, then its the way to go.
