Growing autoflowering plants outdoors, mid-atlantic region

Discussion in 'Organic Grow Journals' started by Farmer Jon, Jul 30, 2015.

  1. I would like to open a discussion with outdoor growers of autoflowering seeds in the mid-atlantic region . I started my 1st grow with 3 Barney's Farm Little Cheese and 3 Royal Queen Diesel Auto seeds. I have had some mixed results and would like to share insights with others growing auto's outdoors.

The seeds germinated easily with 100% success were placed into small containers on june 13 and then transplanted to 2 gal pots about 7-10 days later (I now know transplanting an autoflower can and will delay the plants). I will get to the mixed results later: right now I am wondering how the very hot temps in my region might effect my plants. This week the temp has gotten to 90 f each day, will this do harm to my plants?
