Im Growing 3x Fem. Black Domino in one bin and 3x more in another using these lights: 2x 180w Mars-Hydro UFO LED 3w chip 1x 300w Mars Hydro LED 2x 14w Full Spectrum Panels 1x 14w Vegetative Panel 4x 13w CFL Lamps I'll be using a pretty basic bin Top-Fed DWC set-up in a 2'4" x 5'3" closet. I used highly reflective mylar on the walls, ceiling, and floor. As for nutrients I will use the pH Perfect Base Nutrients from Advanced Nutrients as they direct. All six plants will be 'mainlined' (I think that's the term). What do you as experienced growers estimate my overall yield will be if all goes well? I am looking for all advice. THANKS IN ADVANCE!
Hello! I'm pretty new to growing, after reading a bunch of these forums I figured the best place to start with LED lights would be you guys at MarsHydro. Do people generally get good results with your $70 300w LEDs? How long should I expect 180w UFO LEDs to run? Any information would be great
yeah DG, the old model 300w can do a great job as well. Normally when veg normally you can run them 18 hours + and when flowering you need to run them 12/12
And recommended height are: Seedling:30 inches veg:18-24 inches flowering:12-18 inches Hope this helps, more info needed, just let me know DG,always happy to be helpful

there are a lot of factors that influence yield but I can give you a very rough estimate if you really have no idea what to expect 180w 180w 300w 14w 14w 14w = 702watts So the LEDs probably use about 350-400watts. CFLs add up to 52watts. With that amount of light and no big cock ups, you should get around 6-8oz
