Welcome! This is my first post on any kind of grow forum. I decided to invest and start my own grow op and it is coming along so nice! My grow is 1 Northern Lights plant from seed from ILGM. I am currently 2 weeks from sprout and am proud so far of how it's going. I am growing in a storage room under a 6500k 105W cfl. I also have another 105W bulb I plan on using as well but waiting for it to grow a little more to add more light. I'm using a 5 gallon bucket DWC system that I built myself. The nutes I'm using is GH Fluoraduo. I chose that because what I've read is that it's very good for beginners and hard to mess up. So I'm posting in here so I can get some input from the community and also some help if I run into any problems. Without further ado, here is my girl from the past couple of days, as you can see she grew a ton over a couple of days.
While DWC can grow very nice plant/s, it is far from ideal, as you will see once the plant gets big and you need to flush, clean and replace old nutes with fresh Lifting the plant out and placing it somewhere is an oh shit moment that repeats itself weekly I simplified my life by switching to F & D, which adds an outboard rez. Yeah I've thought about what I'm going to do with the plant when I change the res. I was thinking of either just getting an extra bucket with new nutes or building some kind of rack I can sit the plant on while I change the water. Can you send a link of that DIY I can't seem to find it. Thanks for replying!

UPDATE! Hey its been a while since I've updated this but my grow is still coming along and I LOVE it! This is so much fun learning how the plant evolves through every stage. It is such a good hobby to take up and I'm glad I decided to grow. Here are some pics, she's now 4 weeks into flowering. I'm pretty proud she's so healthy for my first grow. what do you guys think?
Hey. So I'm over 7 weeks into flowering now. I have been keeping an eye on the trichs and started flushing with ph'd water today. I will harvest sometime this week. What do you guys think of my girl?
