Wellfare is not compatible with communism

    I had a thought.

    "Workers of the world unite!"

    The idea that the lower class is exploited is perfectly fine. The idea that all wealth is created by labor is also true.

    However, this doesn't justify handouts to those who don't work

    If we are going to tax the rich for the poor, shouldn't the poor at least earn it?

    No, they really shouldn't have to. "Earn it" means trade the time of your life for money, and at its bare bones it means work to live. You would agree that is just?

    how can society function if people stop progressing?

    Everyone should work and contribute if everyone is to benefit yes?

    Totally agree. Any ablebodied person must work in a government owned factory and be compensated with a sum equal to what they would receive in welfare

    I tend to agree with the idealism behind it.

    Why can't we all live off machines and not have to work hard?

    There are reasons of coarse but its nice to think about.

    Automation and technological advances really aren't the issue, the issue is how happy people in a society .

    Or that's how it should be.

    If the ant doesnt collect food with its colony surely it won't survive.

    If the squirrel doesn't search for nuts and store up for the winter, surely it wouldnt survive.

    Why should we be any different?

    Yes, or be self sufficient. I can't even wrap my head around how you think others owe you a free ride. Why should anyone be forced to pay you for nothing when they did all the work? Who do you think you are?

    If I'm not mistaken in communism if ur unemployed you don't receive free money but still get free housing and food as these r considered the property of gov. So it's a bit different from the conventional idea of welfare
