I posted this in the indoor forum but I didn't get many responses. Thought I'd repost here and see what everyone thought. A funny thing happened to me. I've been growing the the same genetics for 4 plant cycles. I started with a bag seed and made a clone off of her and brought her to harvest. Then I made a clone off that clone and did the same again and again. Before harvest I always check the trichomes and this clone of a clone of a clone now has purple trichomes when none of the others ever had any purple. I'm running 2-300w galaxyhydro LEDs. Has this happened to anyone? Anyone seen purple trichomes before? Will this effect potency?
the lights you have are the exact ones I'm thinking about getting, how do u like them? Do they do good throughout the whole plants lifecycle? And how many plants do u have for 2 lights? Back to your question that is weird and I haven't seen that either, same light used to grow the other plants that were harvested before?
I got these 300w galaxy hydros 4 months ago. I do like them a lot but They're my first LEDs so I don't have much to compare them to. I thought my main issue would be that the manufacturer recommends the light to be 18"-24" away from the plants but my grow cabinet is only 36" tall so my tops are only about 2 inches from the lights After the stretch but they don't burn. One of my girls was reaching for the sky and when I checked on her one of her fan leaves was touching the light. No burning no problems. I have 2 flowering in my cabinet right now but I can fit 4 comfortably. Same light for the last 2 cycles
them trichomes looks so juicy and delicious lol, nice pictures you must have a good camera or camera phone(though what phone doesn't have a camera now)
I'm using the Mustcam from Amazon. It did take some getting used to but now that I understand how to focus a bit better it's great!
