I would definitely start with giving every working person in America a subsidized income, and adjusting world economy accordingly, my goal is to create happiness.

Also I want to gain public support here.

  2. As a guy who isn't concerned with any consequences and lives in the now, getting some extra money per month would certainly raise my happiness level. I approve.

  3. hahahahahaha!! The muslims would have you assinated for doing so.

  4. they need happiness too :\

  5. Oh and also give income to India, Africa, etc

  6. Everything should be free, or at least paid for by someone else.

Hey Lenny, I didn't know you were black. [IMG]

  10. I think fixed incomes would be economic suicide.

  11. I could survive on a fixed million dollars a month.

    Start sending it, bitches.

  12. The comment and signature fit so perfectly together.

Also fitting would be a Bender-themed signature.

I really find it a twisted world when the idea of happiness for all strikes people with dissonance. All many people seem to think about is happiness for me me me. That's what the rich think, and really, what does it do for them? What good is it to have every luxury in the world, without happiness derived from it? What good is living on a multi acre property without other people to compare their subjective happiness to? The riches entire viewpoint is flawed, they will always want to be "better" than someone. It's literally a nation divided amongst itself, how does it stand?

Happiness for me is simply existing in the world, enjoying its commodities. Nothing brings more pleasure than enjoying the commodities of the world, and having the freedom to do so.

Imagine what you would do with a million dollars a month. You would be the happiest man on the planet.

I see our entire economic system, as a system that fundamentally goes against the basis of human happiness. If people ARE happy this way? You know what, power to them. But as a person who DOES live off of subsidized income, in America, it is an extremely freeing thing that brings me happiness. The only difference with me, is I'm not trying to get power over other people.

I have realized through having a subsidized income, that my material needs are very low, my wants are high, and my desire for happiness is highest.

I see the question, though it took me some time. How do people do the work required to live, such as provide water and food, create shelter, without any incentive to do so.

The investment to produce basic things like that, requires time and effort put in. Who would do that?

    That's a really good question.

The way I see it, is that, if a person chooses to work, he will get more money, allowing him to do more things.

  16. I see the Marixist hatred of anyone who has more money than you do is alive and well here.

"The rich" is not some monolithic group of people. They are as varied as any other group of people. Are there assholes among them? -- sure, just like there are assholes who live in trailer parks.

A good number of them have put money at risk starting a business, worked 60, 70, 80 hour weeks for years. Some of them buy a lot of toys and a large house, but a lot of them don't. You would never know they are "rich" (whatever that means) by looking at what they have and how they live.

This country is so fucked with all the jealousy and hatred of people who are perceived to be "rich." The socialists have been winning for decades and are just about at the finish line.

  17. Throwing money at impoverished nations has not been shown to work.

How many billions have Africa received? They are still fighting back corruption, disease, war..

  18. They need trillions! Duh!

  19. On someone else's dime! makes it that much sweeter doesn't it? Q

Glad to help. I love having a portion of my hard earned put that I get for bussing my ass over 50 hrs a week go to help people who don't need the help but mooch anyway because they deserve it.

Not wise to spend it on well off nations either who claim to not need it but are only where the are because they can't stop sucking of that good ol American tit.
