Question for democrats

Discussion in 'Politics' started by yurigadaisukida, Jul 27, 2015.

  1. This is a question for those of you who consider yourselves Democrats, or even just vote Democrat usually.

If Hillary Clinton becomes the Democratic nominee, how many of you will vote for her?

Is she going to be a "lesser of two evils" again?

  2. Well for one, she isn't the "lesser of two evils". Just because the conservative right has made her out to be the big bad ogre doesn't mean the left buys into it. She has flaws just like any candidate but pales in comparison to the GOP clown car of candidates. Yes I would vote for her. Hands down. I prefer Bernie Sanders. We can't all have we want.

Here's my question to you. If Donald Trump gets the nomination and there is no third party candidate, would you vote for him?

  3. Ohhh! He just reversed that shit on your ass..

I can only answer for myself, but the answer to your question is NO. Trump wont get the republican nomination, I predict they rip him apart in the national debate. Those debates are long and the trumpmiester is only good in 5 min blips.

Hillary clinton is the worst though bro, i cant believe you would stoop to such low levels given her obvious lack of conviction

  4. Well the question was assuming Sanders isn't on the ticket.

</blockquote>Absolutely not. If my only two options are trump and Clinton I continue calling myself an anarchist and refuse to recognize their authority (probly will do that anyway)

Reversed what? I just was curious what Democrats thought if Clinton but couldn't do a poll on mobile app

  5. Yeah, sorry about that. My post was a tad confusing. I realize that Sanders wouldn't be an option. I was just stating my personal choice. My ultimate choice would be Gary Johnson... I wish he would run. :(

  6. Lesser of two evils again? Why should I expect any different this time around?

The lesser evils are so boring though.

  8. i had a pretty good response to this but of course, it wouldn't post

but gary johnson is legit. he makes me want to register to vote almost.

  9. libertarian party deserves someone better than gary johnson, there are so many good, well spoken libertarians and hes not one of them. back to the democrats tho boys..

See there's the problem. Johnson is dismissed because he doesn't adhere religiously to a certain ideology. Johnson was governor of my state and his administration was phenomenal. He never let an ideology dictate his actions. He did what was needed and what was right. He may not be the darling of the Libertarian party but he's damned good at what he does and he has a proven track record.

This partisan fanaticism is the reason the country is so fucked up right now.

  11. Religious ideology doesnt matter, Gary Johnson is just not well spoken and you have to have someone well spoken, who doesn't mince his words, so people who believe in that particular ideology feel safe voting for that person ... why not put the best person forward? Im just saying Gary Johnson is not that person and I would like to see someone else run as a real small government libertarian who is better spoken than Gary Johnson. It's not partisan fanatisism, we just need someone to fill the void for real small government conservatives.. im telling its a HUGE void and its only growing larger. socialism will only make it worse.

  12. Who said anything about religious ideology? ::confused::

  13. mis-read that part!

  14. I voted for him last time around as well

It's been a while since I've seen him, but from my recollection he is a very competent orator. Even granting the premise that he is not well-spoken so what? He has demonstrated that he has a clear understanding of his principles and the capacity to apply them to any situation he's prompted about. He was a pretty solid executive for his state, and was reelected as a Republican in a state that was blue at the time, which is not objectively important but a lot of people seem to buy into political party, left/right paradigm, so it's a notable feat. And as a person who isn't well-spoken, he would sure make a lot of sense as a potential representative for me. But by all means, if you have a better third party candidate, I wouldn't be opposed to him or her because I'm a fan of efficiency and success.

  16. I believe the two mainstream political party that the media advertise is detrimental to the advancement of our society.

  17. do you think she is less corrupt that the GOP candidates?

  18. I think her priorities are more geared to my benefit than the GOP and I don't have to worry about rights and benefits being taken away. I don't think she's corrupt at all. I know Conservatives consider her the Whore of Babylon but they've been saying the same bullshit for decades. Now lay it on me August. Whip out all your damning proof of her consummate corruptness.

  19. anyone spending that much time in high level politics is absolutely corrupt..

the question you asked me is ridiculous.. we all know someone like Dick Cheney was corrupt as fuck.. but i guess since we have no proof, than he must be an angel? Sometimes it's just obvious..

There's an awful lot of shady baggage that woman is carrying around between the email thing, Benghazi, the clinton foundation etc... you may suffer from partisan blindness if you can't see that.
