I usually pull them down.. well just in the one area we are trying to keep nice. Some of them are pretty crazy.. able to hold me up and reach to the tops of really old trees. Few weeks ago there was one I tried to remove that was like 8-9 inches thick.

regardless it's a beautiful landscape. reminds me of the Alberta badlands. I really need to take road trips more often because this province is extreme diverse. but it's also really fucking big lol.
