Yes - unique! That plant's got all kinds of interesting shit going on. Colors, leaf shapes, twisty, artsy lookin stuff... and that kola! It kinda reminds me of Hinduism.
From Jasper National Park in Alberta. My friend snapped these pics on a hiking trip of ours. Gotta love them glacial fed lakes. Same lake and the ferry from Vancouver to Nanaimo
Wonderful pics blades. Hope you all had a fantastic weekend. First time seeing a bee on my plant. She spent the night there . Pink sky at sundown.
Wow dude that's super fucking cool! She spent the night there? What an honor. You beautiful cannabis plant feels like safe refuge for that bee. Maybe she'll bless you with a little bit of elite pollen and you can have a nice mystery cross.
Nice pics Crony it's beautiful out there. How's it look at night? Can you see the milky way and everything? I've never really seen a clear night sky without light pollution and I hate that I'm missing out.
Oh man you wouldn't believe it if you saw it. When I step out to toke on a clear night, I am overwhelmed myself and I've lived here for all 20 years of my life! It's like boom right in your face! All the stars are lit bright, I have an excellent view of the big dipper, the orian belt, Jupiter and Venus are really visable... all that stuff. It's so peaceful enjoying the quiet and solitude of the night. Living in such a rural area it's just like the town kind of dies at night, it is really peaceful. I wish I could get pictures of the stars at night, I have tried before, but it is just too dark and all I'm working with here is the camera on my cell phone.
That's so cool. I'm planning a camping trip soon I need to get away and stretch my legs. You take those pics on your phone?! That's amazing, what phone is it?
Oh man you can see 1000x more stars when you don't have light pollution. It's amazing. I used to lay on the neighbors trampoline on Vancouver Island while high as fuck and watch the stars. But I always scared myself inside because as a city boy the dark and quiet and having mountainous wilderness feed away from you out the fenceless backyard is pretty fucking scary. and the thought of UFO's
I recently bought the new Galaxy S6. The camera on it is really good. I forgot to mention during winter, maybe once or twice every other year we get the northern lights too. It's really amazing to see that.

An amazing wonder of nature - ATP Synthase - the power plant of the living cell. The proton driven motor enzyme (complete with rotor and stator) converts ADP plus an inorganic phosphate into ATP - the energy storage molecule of living processes. Arguable one of the most fundamental and important of any life related chemical processes. This is a molecular machine of incredible functionality. It uses protons (hydrogen nuclei = H+) shooting thru its interior due to a concentration gradient created by another marvel of molecular mechanics called the "electron transport chain", to drive a rotor (the c groups, above) and an attached shaft (the gamma group). The rotorary shaft is cam shaped and thus impinges on the 10 alpha and beta side groups, deforming their shape as it rotates about. This change in shape ends up physically shoving together a bound phosphate group (Pi) and an ADP molecule (a di-phosphate - 2 phosphates), forcing them to bind together to form ATP (a tri-phosphate - 3 phosphates). These proton driven rotary machines are what manufactures the energy storage and delivery molecules used to power our every thought and movement. The energy is contained in that high energy phosphate bond. Later chemical reactions throughout the organism will break those bonds (ATP --> ADP + Pi + energy) and harvest the resultant energy and use it to power other reactions such as those used in contracting or expanding a muscle cell.. Most all of the energy used in these chemical processes ultimately comes from sunlight - i.e. by eating and breaking down things that perform photosynthesis, or eating things that ate those things.
This is an awesome thread. Such amazing photos! I'm such a nature junkie. This morning, I was hanging at my outdoor "office" when this guy slithered across the path. I tried to get a photo of him on the path, but he got scared and curled up in the brush. About 4' long, but with the tiniest rattle I've ever seen. Only about a half an inch.
Idk I just feel like there is a bridge between us The devil is beating his wife Some solar panels and some clouds I got camera happy driving today lol
