  12. A pair of frogs chilling. I am sure it was just a coincidence, but I can almost never get near these frogs. Usually they jump in the water at the first sign of movement.. but the other day there was a small puddle that was drying up full of tadpoles. They were all jammed together, no room to swim or move around.. so I scooped them up with a shovel and put them in the deeper puddles. When I went to check up on them later, these frogs weren't scared of me and let me get close. Maybe they realized I wasn't a threat.. or maybe they were just being lazy, just thought it was cool. Almost had a picture of it.. but when I was scooping up another drying puddle of tadpoles, a pair of dragonflies landed on my hand and were getting it on. Flew off right before I was able to snap a photo.

  13. I would bet you are correct. We saw a bunch of big empty snail shells close to the water. Those eggs were on the rocks and trees, bright pink.

Checked my plant this morning I found this little guy fixing his web on top. I've grown much more fond of spiders. Eat the pests!
