Basically im having trouble figuring out what these problems are.. One has brownish edges and tips and some browning on leaf... The other problem is on another one.. its leaves are a bit wrinkled and wilty.... im using a 400w mh, temps are 82f-84f lights on and 70f-76f lights off.. light is roughly 30 inches from tops.. i feed twice a week with recommended dosage of nutes, with a ph of 6.3-6.5.. i use my own mix of peat moss, vermiculite and perlite.. However with a cheap soil ph tester my soil's ph is close to 8.. whether the tester is wrong or i cant get the soils ph down i dunno.. Thanks 4 any help

  2. Well the leaves are starting to get dark green, looks like nitrogen toxicity. You need to flush your plants.

  3. after i flush how long u recommend i wait b4 adding nutes? less obviously

  4. Wait at least 3 to 4 days.

So far you have done well.....but for the vermiculite(cat litter) it holds a lot of water ...hence it holds a lot of nute, find some way of removing it before bud, and add 30% total of perlite as a replacement, right now its flush time:

no more nutes until you see a positive improvement

    ps see the light chart

  6. Vostok is right, im getting nitrogen toxicity right now. The vermiculite if not flushed weekly will hold a very high ph of its own. I'm changing my mix this week to Coco and perlite 2 weeks before they go to flower.

  7. PH is off Causing a Mag deficiency.

  8. poor soil drainage is one of many to cause a soil ph to raise. Get some microrezea to regenerate the soil or pollute the environment and add acidic pellets.
