I am running 400W MH/HPS light fixture at the moment. Sadly my led light system is broken beyond repair so this system is what I have to work with now. What I'm wondering is how does the distance from the plant vary from an led system? I have the light and plant separated by 16in, should I decrease that gap or widen it? Bulb currently in the system is an agrosun gold 400W high output horizontal.

i'm running a 600w in an air cooled hood and its about 10" from the tops. i do the hand test and i can get up to like 6" from the light and its comfortable. but i think 10" is good for me. no heat stress or burning yet
