Bread machines

  1. I bought a bread machine from the goodwill and LOVE IT! If I use it to bake the bread, the loaf comes out in the shape of a cylinder. My man and I call it circle bread!

However, my favorite thing to use it for is to make dough for homemade hamburger/hot dog buns!

I don't think I can ever go back to plain store bought bread.

    Nice find!
I agree with you, once you eat homemade breads, hamburger / hot dog buns, etc...it's really hard to go back to store bought.

I love my bread maker and Kitchenaid mixer! I use them both for making different kinds of dough for breads, buns, pizza, cinnamon rolls, etc...YUM! I use the dough cycle on the bread maker and bake loaves of bread in the oven. [IMG]

  3. I want to get one so the wife and I can start learning to bake our own. We are hoping to retire a good distance from any type of store. While we can stock up on other supplies you cant really buy two months worth of bread unless you want to freeze it, and that just isn't near as good as even store bought fresh bread.

  4. We have one but no one really uses it.

I might have a bash at making a loaf :)

  5. I've got one and the results are awesome, both in taste and smell...but damn, that whole waiting three and a half hours sucks. It does have a rapid-bake cycle, but the results just aren't the same...
