Also attending will be Dr. Gil Mobely to talk about how thesenew laws will impact the health care professional and patient relationship, andwhat patients should be aware of as a result of being pushed into the I-502 system. Regarding the lack of concern by the governor and the legislature during thislast session, Sarah Wood, a volunteer with the organization states, “This is abig step backwards and in the wrong direction for the process of cannabisreform and compassionate use laws. With the newly written law, it will becomealmost impossible for patients to renew and keep their medical cannabisrecommendationsâ€. The press conference will also be to announce the formation of asocial welfare organization, The Viper's Club, and its associated ongoing statepolitical action committee, VIPER PAC, to improve the present laws for thebenefit of patients. Compassionate cannabis use models of law are not designed to reap largecorporate profits.
