Every time I think its time to harvest new growth starts...

  1. Well I'll start off with telling everyone that I am a medical patient in the state of Hawaii. This time around I am growing out the Sour Tangie from DNA Genetics which is a 9-10 week strain. Here in Hawaii our days never go past 14 hours of sunlight so I veg indoors and flower outdoors. I harvested 1 plant last week at week 9 which had about 90% of her red hairs receding in and about 20-30% Amber crystals. All of the other plants looked like they could go for another week. Now today 5 days after the first plant was harvested the red hair on the other plants receded back in but the pod exploded with new growth of white hairs making me think that I have another 2-3 week. All crystals seem to be milky white and and are just starting to go Amber. This is my first ever organic grow so I'm not to sure if this has anything to do with having excessive amounts of nutrients or giving the wrong compost tea to late in flower. Has anyone ever have something like this happen to you? Could someone explain what's happening or what has happened to my buds? I am very confused since this is the first strain that has ever done this to me. Since about week six this has been happening. The bud looks like it's getting close to harvest then the bud goes through another explosive growth of pods and hairs, like a never ending flower that continues to eat and stack on each other. All and any help would be great. Thanks

  2. Welcome to GC C3M!

Lucky you to grow outside in beautiful Hawaii!

I've had several strains do the same. I just keep watching the trichomes and call it at a point I can call balanced. IME listed flowering times are usually a couple weeks too short for inside. I've never grown outside though.

    Got any pictures?

  3. Got pics but there on my iPhone gotta figure out how to post without my address being link to it

upload your pics to a pc. then:

    if you are on windows:

right click on the pic you want to upload and on the menu choose 'properties'.
on the window that opens click on the 'Details' tab
on the bottom click where it says "Remove Properties and Personal Information"
now select "Remove the following properties from this file"
click on the "select all" button on the bottom.
    click "ok"

your pic is now scrubbed of any info that was attached to it and you can safely upload it.
