The internet already made it possible to funnel money from the poorest citizens to the richest without everyone in between getting a piece. You don't have to build and open thousands of Amazon stores and pay thousands of employees to run them. It does make sense that the top 1% is headed towards accumulating virtually all of the wealth in this country and redistribution will be necessary at some point. They won capitalism. What can we do now?

The disdain for taxation is not in whom is being taxed but that someone is being taxed. Theft is theft no matter whom you are stealing from.

The big difference here is with automization, the rich and corporations will have LARGE income source while a large portion of middle class and poor workers jobs will be automated. Why should that income NOT be taxed to support the people who lost their jobs, to make the rich MORE money.
