I bought batteries at a dollar store, $2.50 for a pack of two. They are NiMH, 800 mAh (Magic Flight recommends 2,000 mAh and up). The reason why I bought them is because the batteries which came with my MFLB are in fact a piece of shit: they don't have enough charge for one vaping session. At first I was going to get another pair of "real" batteries for ~$20, but I accidentally saw those cheap ones in a dollar store.

They work all right. Of course they don't last as long as standard MFLB batteries, which cost around $10 each ($20 for two) - each of the cheap ones lasts only a few hits, and the two of them are not enough for me to get high. But they are a good addition to the standard high-capacity (I was going to write "good quality"-no, they are not good, they are made from shit) batteries.

Also, these batteries do last one session, and they are amazing batteries imo as ive had them for over 1-2 years and work perfect.
Ive only had to worry about how long a sesh will last maybe once when i forgot to charge the other battery and i had shitty weed. Maybe you need new batteries.

  3. 800 mah is less than half capacity than the mflb batteries. If your mflb batteries are having issues you may have to discharge and recharge them. There is a ton of info on nihm batteries on the internet, while a lot may be focused on rc, the same rules apply.

Even when fully charged a substandard battery, which no one knows how long it's been on a shelf, will likely never hit the 800mah, you will probably get high 600s if you're lucky. Not to mention the stupid voltage drop that will occur with such a low capacity cell.

  4. Standard MFLB batteries are $10 a pair, and in my opinion, should be treated as disposable and budgeted to replace annually (or sooner depending on your level of use).

$10 for two-not one-makes a lot of difference. The head shop where I bought my MF is selling one for nine dollars something.

In fact, I bought those batteries just two or three months ago. Either the batteries or the weed I'm smoking is shit, or I've built up tolerance.
