Is this enough to grow for now?

  1. Bought some Northern Light female AutoFlowering seeds from nirvana, germinated, and then just planted today. Im wondering what a plant needs to survive and produce bud. Was originally going to grow outside but saw the area I can plant outside is infested with fungus gnats or soil mites. So I don't have all the equipment set up or a lot of money because I didn't plan ahead seeing as I was gonna plant outside. So right now I have 3 plants (not yet sprouted) sitting on a plate in my closet with tin foil covering most of the area and two lamps pointed at the plants with 15 watt cfl bulbs in each, so I only have 30 watts on the plants, I know its a really shitty setup but im wondering if it will be ok for a couple weeks until I can buy everything I need. Will try to post pics of the set up later if i can work out how lmao. Also can anyone tell me if 3 Northern Light plants will stink up the whole house or just the room and how to control smells. Thanks[IMG][IMG]

  3. Wow Wtf is this man come on dude you need at least 3-4 23w cfl bulbs man this is embassing. Pack of 4-23w cfl 6500k bulbs cost 4$ ar home depot those laps are a fire hazard. Get and extension cord and a few plug in cfl sockets asap that enough light for 1 plant the way u have it set up now.

  4. I can't actually get out to Home Depot for maybe a week. Cars broke so I'm wondering if this is ok until then or am I totally fucked

  6. you'll be fine the seedlings don't need a lot of light, but make sure you get more light after that or your grow will turn into a bad joke.. keep what light you have close and blow a small clip on type fan over them..

    good luck man

  7. Looks interesting, Il sub. I have one plant under a 60 watt flood light and a 20 watt CFL 3000k. Lol my grow box isnt going to fit the extra plant so im doing something kindof like your old set up with stronger bulbs. ImageUploadedByGrasscity Forum1437768519.769300.jpg

  8. I'm subbing this looks like it will be a wild ride. I have three northern light autos in there third week of flowering and they don't really have a strong smell. Only if you get close and take a nice whiff. My house keeper is very anti green and she has never noticed. Good luck these are fun ones to grow and can take a lot of abuse so I bet you will do fine. Order lights from Amazon if you can't get to your hardware store. Good luck!

  11. Sorry to see that Bro. What size pot are you in and have you added any lights yet? This strain is really hardy. Mine grew in 104deg temps from seedlings until flower and was a great smoke and yield. I bet you can get her to come back.

  12. 104? Damn I'd imagine if mites don't get to it, the roots will fry up.

  13. You would think so but they finished and made a great smoke. Obviously the buds were a little airy but for some cheap autos it worked well. The temps are cooling in my neck of the woods so I have some white mountain kush and goji og by bohdi popping out the ground right now. Should be a perfect winter.

  14. No. I don't know what the problem is so I don't even know where to start looking on how to save it. I posted on here and am getting A lot of people saying it's probably the soil

  15. This is my set up now. I moved the other two outside and mixed with tomatoe and herb fertilizer because those ones are curling down and turning yellow. 16. I'm hoping that I can at least save the other two by moving them outside. Or at least save the one in the closet by having more light focused on it. I want to save at least one. I have 2 more seeds and a few more freebies but if these die WILL NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF PLANTING UNTIL I AM READY AGAIN!!!! Also I planted 3 freebies outside in small biodegradable pots to start then out and some fuckin thing ripped em out the ground.

Let top of the soil feel dry b4 watering again. If you wanna go cheap, you can use super soil from HomeDepot they're like $5-6/bag, that's the minimum you can use with decent results for bagged soil goes, at least your plant won't look like that. Also make sure you have perlite in the soil for later better drainage.

I remember my very first grow even I knew nothing my sprouts didn't look like that, something is really hurtingem. Also your water needs to be PH balanced and hopefully you're not in an area with extra Chlorine or other crap in your water. Maybe you should just give it purified bottled water for a week or so. You can still save it, stop watering on a routine and only do when it's dry, that's extra important.

If you take the other 2 out, hopefully they stay moist, plants that size can't tolerate high heat and very low humidity and will look worse than inside, if outside weather is really hot.
