Thanks The light is 12inch away. I thought about it but I'm tryna be some what conservative on the electric bill lol but seeing your results I might just do it
I was thinking I could be since the roots are poking out of the net pot and I had water almost 2inches above net pots. Also watered them up top thinking the roots where not into water. Rockwool was soaked. I lowering water inch below now. Hopefully that is the problem. I also turned fan off for the night to see if that was a issue,maybe fan is to close for seedlings. We shall see lol rookie learning experiences
Day 12 So after lowering the water a inch below net pot, they look like they perked up just a little bit and are not as droopy. Also you can not tell from picture but the 3rd set of leaves tips are starting to poke out top of seedling
yeah I'm pretty sure it was just overwatering lol, I forgot you had a bucket set up too lol duh you shouldn't be watering at all.
I decided to raise the light a couple inches up to 16" away from tops. They seem to like it as the leaves are perking up more. Check ph and everything is within range. For the strawberry fields, the Ph is at 5.97 while The Purps is at 6.0. So they rose a couple points from the 5.7 when I feed them for the first time. Read that healthy dwc systems ph rise over time which is why some people let there ph levels fluctuate throughout the week instead of adding ph down numerous of times a day. Decided to break out the tape measure and take a couple photo to see the growth. The pic in black in white are taking while the LED light was turned on. The other one I used a chrome filter while messing around on my iPhone. The filter brings out the color of plants leaves pretty good. 2nd set of leaves are now a little more then a inch long. This is the strawberry Fields Seedling. Strawberry fields once again. She close to 2 inches. After raising the LED, lowering reservoir water level and letting rockwool dry out she is perking back up again. 1st set of true leaves are now a little more the 2" on the strawberry fields seedling. Notice the leaves compared to my last post from day 11. The Purps 2nd set of true leaves are now a little more then 1".
Day 14 from seed Some say the seedling stage is 2-3 weeks so I don't know if I'm in my first day of veg or 3rd week of seedling stage lol But anyways I just checked on my babies after getting home from work and they are starting to take off. The second set of leaves are now bigger then the first. Plants are now a little over 2" tall. I can see the 4th set of leave tips starting to come in and also I can see the start of the branch tips coming out first node. I'm will wait to they get there 5th or 6th mode then I will top them to start mainlining and maybe take clones from those tops. Strawberry fields S.F. Again The Purps Not a good angle but they are a little over 2 " The stems have also changed since day 13 and are kind of hardening. Tons of white roots poking out now too
lol I've just done a lot of reading, mine are bag seed from green Crack dispensary.. so who knows what strain Polinated them lol you can tell some are definitely different and basing on grow Paterns I'm guessing so far I have 3 or 4 females out of the 7 plants so not bad but I'm still waiting on guaranteed sexing lol
Day 21 from Seed Yesterday my plants received there first topping after growing 5 nodes high. seeing all the grow disappear sucks. Hopefully they bounce back quick
Day 22 After topping 2 days ago it looks like they are bouncing back. The 2 set of leaves are starting to come out.
