I see lots of ppl talking about leds and thought of making a thread for led users to show pics. I dont want arguements of who light is best cause there light has higher par at 18inch than someone elses the proof is in the pudding and plants tell the story of what they like so lets see them.

We can do numbers all day long and argue about why the light we have is best but why not try and support each other rather than bash someone cause they got a mars instead of a platinum or amere.

So we want pics. In any stage we all love bud here so thats what it should be about.

Too much bitching and i will ask mods to delete the thread.

    Ill start

Currently i use an advance xml350 and i love it this my first plant with the led 1437137129501.jpg

I also using a twilight spider 4 got 3 autos 9days old View attachment 1827114

    Ive used mars hydro lights

    Grow northern leds as well

I love testing and trying new lights.

I love leds and can get just as dense as any hps too and i achive higher gpw with led than hps...

You should be able to edit or delete, and do over

I just got my tracking number for Transcendent Lighting D 200, a 230w Remote Phosphor led, said to be for supplemental greenhouse lights, but I will be using it indoors/tent http://www.transcendlighting.com/store/p2/TL-D200-...

Remote Phosphor is a life expectancy game changer

One of the problems with conventional leds is the warmer the color, the more heat, less efficient and therefore shorter life expectancy. The more red diodes your panel has the sooner/faster it will degrade. The grower may not notice the degradation, but most red diodes lose 30-50% spectral integrity within 5000 hours

RP uses blue diodes + a spectral coating inside the containment bulb (think household bulbs), in effect doubling life expectancy. Philips developed RP a couple years ago, and it's now hitting the market

I will also be getting a new 220w COB from Amare Tech, which has 4 Cree COBs, each surrouded by 5w red/blue diodes, just to tweak the peaks

Here's a couple pics of my MidNightRider Reveg grown under a first generation BML SPYDR 600 (~ 360w) for which I chose the spectrums.

First plant pic May 25th. Second July 15

Note not many red diodes, and color of plant is very natural

  5. Nice i wanna see what you new panel does man. :)

  6. Subbed, every day that passes I'm wanting one more and more

  7. I haven't used HID but LED feels like I am compared to my CFL experience. I've entered the harvest window and using the Mars 100x3w I can already see an improvement in bud structure and overall density as well as an increase in yield versus if I were to add equal watts of CFL. Awesome investment even on the cheap side IMO

  8. Cool leds are awsome. Want this to be a central hub in a way as ppl on both my led thread have been talking about led and if it was in one place it would be much eaiser to keep up with.

  9. What's up Loki I'm in for this one.

  10. Nice one guys :) feel free to post what you like pics an all

  11. Subbed. Last night was my 1st night with my platinum p450. I have it in a 4X2X6 with a phresh filter and an exhaust fan. Obviously I don't have much experience but I did notice my temps dropped 6-7 degrees and my plants wet literally pointing straight to the light. In a total noob, and I've never seen the leafs do that to that extent. I'm currently flowering 3 plants 2 yoda og's and a thin mint. I have some seeds started for my next run. I'm going to do an 818 headband from Cali connection and a blue cheese from barneys farm and a strawberry amnesia also. My thin mint is furthest along at 39 days and the other 2 are 2 weeks behind and 4 weeks behind. I can't wait to see all the different lights and what they're capable of.

  12. That headband is ment to be awsome cant wait to see you grow it.

  13. With some of the platinumbeing longer rather than square do the suit a longer tent?

  14. Yeah man I'm pretty excited to have good genetics to grow. The plants I have now we're clones I got from some friends and then I took some clones off them. It worked out well because I've been learning and figuring things out by trial and error and mainly from reading and posting on GC. I just ordered some fresian dew from Jack at the vault, in planning on doing those after the 818 and blue cheese and strawberry amnesia.

  15. Yes in my opinion it fits nice. It's rectangle just the same as my tent and seems to have great coverage so far. A p150 on each end of the 450 would prob be unreal. If that would even be possible? Maybe too much light?

  16. Oh if anyone orders from the vault use loki10 for 10% off
I have a blue cheese with my bodhi :) smell amazing

  17. Oh man I bet, the reason I ordered BC is because when I first joined here I saw yours. And BC my fav dressing too haha

  18. Subbed in brotha! May I ask though, why is it you named the thread "All about LEDs" and "want it to be a central hub" for LEDs. Yet also say you don't want any talk of science applied or numbers involved?
    .
I am ALL FOR a LED picture thread, just believe it should be called "Various results using various LEDs" or something along those lines. As you don't plan on having much information "all about LEDs". Just my two pennies though! [IMG]
