I really want to top this plant....but I don't know A) why it has 3 main shoots on top in between the already formed 2 nodes. Do I cut all 3? Do I cut 1 closest to right side?
Im not even going to address tying yet....

  2. my gut is telling me to leave them alone and hope those 3 are blessed by mother earth and my hands.

  3. If it were me, I would cut it below the 3 shoots. The point of topping is to stop "up" growth and force "outward" growth. If you don't top below the shoots, you've still got shoots that will continue to grow up. Good luck! TWW

  4. did you look at the picture?
How would I cut all 3 off without cutting the 2 outward branches from the node below? I read important not to do.

  5. cut main stem above the growth you want to keep, whatever you have below the cut will receive more growth hormones and continue to grow up

  6. 3 tops aren't an awesome thing? A mutation of some sort but awesome I'm starting to think.....

  7. nobody? Other than the rude guy?

  8. if you wanna top them just top all three seperetly or just the middle shoot

  9. Your plant has alternating nodes. The middle/highest banch is still the main stem. If you top the middle stem the two below it will become the mains
