Did I buy bad/good/decent weed? Also: newbie questions

doesnt look like it was trimmed well at all. but if it stunk up your car that much then its probably fine, could be good. can't always judge by looks. I prefer to just break the nug down by hand into small chunks when packing bowls, I rarely use grinders unless I'm rolling a joint with some really sticky weed.


But $60/8th?? Where are you at cause that kinda sucks, I wont pay more than 35 but I'm on the west coast.

 

In California I can get that same bud for 10 a gram and 25 an 8th. It looks to be about 2 grams in that baggie. You got ripped. But ya know what? If I was in buttfuck egypt kansas, and I wanted to get high,and thats all there was, I'd probably end up buying that for 30 a gram too. Enjoy.

 

Looks can't really determine quality. Price all depends on your area and who you know. If packing into a one-hitter then a grinder would be ideal. A decent pair or scissors can do nearly as good. Just busting it down with your fingers would work fine...it all comes down to personal preference really.

decent weed, seems like the grower was noob but at the same time he was trying to realy enjoy the growing and get the maximum out of the plant, seen weed that was bit brown like that not that much potent but 2gs got me rolling on floor laughing and shit totaly out of my mind, and if it stinks its even better
i think its seems like late harvest, i aint no pro or something but if you are not getting one of these perfect looking nugs that just doesnt smell and are harsh as fuck = too early harvest/no curing (aka that hustler gotta harvest it as soon as possible to get my money), then you are probly getting good stuff from a good guy

 

First of all, an eighth of weed should be no more than $40-$45. I always pay $35 but universally it shouldn't be no more than $45. So, your "dealer" made more money off of you. Also, if the weed really stinks and consumed your car, then you bought a nice batch. If it smells, it's good. Otherwise, you should be worried if it doesn't smell. Before rolling up, I definitely recommend purchasing a grinder for the simple fact that it breaks up the weed nicely and it makes it easier to roll a joint as well.

Not having crystals and dark color are bad signs. You should look for light green, red hairs, and crystals. But who the fuck cares anyway, that shit will probably get you high as fuck and last you two weeks considering you're a newbie. Just remember this shit for the next times you buy.

Nah, that's the near-mid level "chronic" people try to pass off where I live. Really bad taste, possibly mold. It's usually really sticky and smells-off and is brown and just doesn't look light and trichy and fluffy and delicious like good weed.

If you're new it's okay, but you'll want to find a new guy soon.

Few things, firstly don't listen to people telling you that you paid to much. They don't know the prices in your town. Secondly, we can better judge the quality if it is outside of the bag. That being said, it looks like it could be really good. I can see crystals in it. Smell is honestly a very reliable indicator of it being good, and the fact that it is dense is a good sign. What makes it sticky and hard to break up are crystals in the inside of the bud.

Looks like it might be moist. If you let it dry for a few days the weight would go down quite a bit.
