for convenience my light schedule switch on from 9.30 am to 9.30 pm. Grow tent is total czip up light proof outside that time. I have been flowering my bluedream with this time schedule for 6 weeks now. I just got news that I need to be traveling in 3 day time and will be away for a week. So nobody will be around to zip up the tent. As u know the sun come out around 6.30am -7 am and go down 6.30pm- 7pm . I can't zip up my tent due to heat issue. So my concern is the sun light will start penetrating the room at around 7a. if I stick to 9.30am to 9.30pm schedule. It will have additional of 3 hour of light in the morning. So I intend to temporary Change the schedule to 7am- 7pm to follow the natural sun schedule until when I return, then I will switch back 9.30am to 9.30 pm Will it cause problem?
thank you for your advice, but I will be away for 7 days. And I don't mean extra 2 hour of dark. I mean I change the light on time from 9.30 am- 9.30pm to 7.30am - 7.30pm. Still ok?
As long as the dark period of 12 (or more) hours is uninterrupted... You want to make the change where your Light cycle gets short changed by 2 hours. So before you leave one light cycle is going to come on at 9:30a - but then they will need to be set to go off at 7:30p (thus having a 10 hour Light cycle) and then the 7:30a-7:30p cycle will begin from there. But i'm just a noob, so maybe someone with more knowledge will happen along before you have to leave. What i have stated above is just what i did during approx. the same situation.
I meant it as 2 days of transition, plus when i said extra hours, im assuming your gona cut off the lights early the night before at 7 to dtart the 12 hour night cycle Sent from my SM-G386T1 using Tapatalk
