  1. set this up this morning. some specs...apollo 600w dimmable ballast with air cooled hood. iPower 6" fan and filter filter up on top with 6" ducting to the hood, up out of the tent to the fan to out the window. vortex humidifier set around 60 percent, small fan up top on high, 12" fan on bottom on high angled against a wall and a 10" fan on high on the other side aimed at the wall with all 4 plants moving gently. been up and running around 2 hours and the temp seems to be around 80-82 from the top of the plants to the bulb is around 16" or so. i did the hand test and even up to around 10" it never really felt hot..nor 80 degrees. i have one of those indoor temp and humidity monitors that everyone else seems to have. i think that's everything. ha. any and all suggestions for any part of this is HIGHLY appreciated.

  2. If you got the pre filter for your carbon filter, I would throw it on. Looks great though! What size is the tent.... 4x4?

  3. I assume by pre filter you mean that white cloth I see sometimes. If so it didn't come with one. Should I order one? Or can I make one? Nah it's 3x3x6. Just had to stretch a ways out to get good pics. Ha. Thank you for the compliment. Should I add some kind of fresh air or just leave as is. I've got the bottom flaps open and the fan is on high and it pulls in the tent pretty good. But Temps hover around 82. And i don't like that. I'd like it to be lower

  4. let me know how that set up works. I have almost same set up bow. Just a few or two intil I get my clones and start up.

  5. so far I love it. The Apollo tent is super nice. Minimal light leak. But this room is totally dark so that's not a problem. The temp at night is about 73. During the day it's around 82-86. Not happy about that. I might have to run a duct from the ac vent to the bottom tent vent. But inside it sure doesn't feel like it's in the 80's. Maybe digital isn't always the way to go.

  6. anyone else?

  7. Not much you can do with a 600 watt light in that small of a space. Heat is inevitable. the tent will only be cooled as much as the fresh air being drawn in will allow. either cool the entire room it is in with an A/C split or find a better intake source of air that is cooler

  8. I fixed it. It's 78-79 consistently with 50-60 percent humidity. That should be good right?

  9. Digging the setup buddy. How did you get the temp down? Duct from AC vent to intake on tent? 600 watts should rock that tent.

  10. thanks man. I made some changes and it all helped the heat. I repositioned the fans and humidifier, I did run a duct to the bottom inlet angled into a fan to help spread the cool air. I moved the filter from the top of the tent to the bottom. It created a lot more suction in the tent and I was able to completely close all the flaps so it's pretty damn light proof. It never gets over 79 in there and the humidity is between 50-55 percent. I'll post new pics later. Need to make a grow journal
