I bought a domeless titanium nail for it so it fits into the joint and when I went to go dab my friend torched it and when it was ready I took a hit and my friend took a hit next he didnt get anything that much. and than my sister took a hit and it cracked on the inside and my sisters friend couldnt get a hit so when I went to go put it away it split in half just over the splashgaurd its a clean cut and I got everything to put it back together so I was thinking and Is it really worth fixng it because once I put the glue on I was going to put one of those i love boobies wristbands around it so its secure and not too tight but tight around the crack. Would this work ?and I should mention that the nail seemed to be stuck into the joint when we tryed to pull it out so I could put my bong away. Also is this the torch or could it be the way it was facing when torching this is the torch I have http://www.homedepot.com/p/Bernzomatic-UL100-Basic... Post a pic, it would help. Looks like a china glass piece, that would explain the breaking. IMO just get a new piece. If you dab and smoke weed you want a dedicated piece for each. Resin will make dabs taste like shit.
China glass + propane torch + what I'm thinking is a bit of overzealous torch use = cracked piece. That torch burns way hotter than the typical butane torch so it's much easier to overheat the nail/GoG joint, plus from my experience with mapp gas torches I'm fairly sure that torch puts out a pretty large flame which makes it easier to heat the glass. Trix is right get dedicated oil and flower pieces, for rigs you usually wouldn't want to use something that large or with that much diffusion.
