Smoking and Extremely Active Possible?

  1. So before I got into smoking, I would vigorously exercise every day (bodybuilding) for at least one hour.
However when I started to smoke I noticed a definite lack of energy to perform the same as I used to. Does this happen to anyone else? Or do you just get used to it?

  2. I burn b4 the gym. Just dont be lazy, simple as that.

  3. I am very active everyday. Today I went on a 17 mile bike ride. Walked for an hour. Lifted weights for over an hour. Do something like this at least 5-6 days a week. Smokd all day everyday. It's all in mental. Stick to your plans.

  4. The more you smoke the more lazy you'll feel

Also smoking is bad for lungs that you need for activity

Smoke less often and you'll be fine

  5. lay off the bean. caffeine is not your friend, even if you can afford a cheap date every day.

  6. tell me about it

Quitting caffeine has been a pain

  7. breaking the habit will be like trying to go cold-turkey on your smartphone. Good luck, and God Speed

great advice. never forget about rest days. they are just as important as your lifting/cardio days. you need at least 2 completely inactive days a week for recovery, to allow your body to grow and repair. otherwise you will wear yourself out physically and mentally and can essentially lose strength and motivation.

  9. I still enjoy hitting the gym heavy and blazing.

  10. From my chemistry background - Energy levels go up and down. Weed is the initial catalyst*.
    *reaction rates may differ

  11. I figure if i get used to being active as much as i smoke then i'll be fine.
