Hi there So my throat felt a bit swollen and I decided to take a flashlight to look at it, to make sure there wasn't anything going on... On my tonsil, there was a white thing just sitting there. I obviously freaked out and assumed the worst, and turned to Dr. Google. I found out pretty quickly that they're super common and benign and can't harm you, and that they fall out on their own. In fact I think I've been getting them for years because I sometimes swallow something that I feel has been lodged in my throat(but I always assumed that this was just a piece of food that didn't make it all the way or something. But yeah, I was just wondering if anyone else gets these a lot? I'm too afraid to take it out myself but I've had one for daaaays now... Kind of bugging me. And I wanted to know if anyone knows if its a bad idea to smoke(well, I only vape) weed when you have them?
I used to get them. I was able to reach back there and poke around till I'd push it out of its place and spit or pull it out. It's like an iceberg, you have no idea how big they are. I hated it cause they STINK really really bad. I got my tonsils removed for a few different reason. Glad I don't get them anymore.
I get these too, pretty grim, but I have noticed that after basically forcing most of them out there aren't as many now and they're not such a problem. Saying that I have gone pretty hard in removing them, using dental picks etc.
