What do you mean by heat to cool? I hope you don't mean dropping ti in water after getting it red hot. And temp all depends on the enail, see what people say about temp for your brand specific enail and go frlm there
"heat/cool to red hot about three times." WTF does that mean? That isn't seasoning a nail FYI. If anything that is just starting the oxidation process. Who ever started the lie of "red hot nail dipped in water to season" is a moron and I would love to back hand them(verbally).

Hot dab is hitting it b4 the nail is ready(still to hot) you burn off most the terps. A warm dab im guessing is a low temp dab. 1000 times better flavor from low temp dabs. For those you need a carb cap with the enail. For seasoning put some reclaim\\wax in the head of the nail, enough that will make a puddle that covers the inside of the nail head. Put it in the oven for about an hour at 450 degrees. Take it out and torch off all the wax. Let it cool and after one or 2 more dabs it will be fully seasoned.
