Ive been running Earth Juice nutes for a while, im finally out of it and have been buying no till amendments for a recyclable grow. Im going to start with a base of Sunshine mix #4 12 cu ft. EWC 20lbs Kelp meal 1 - .1 - 2 Alfalfa meal 2.5 - .5 - 2.5 Bone meal 3 - 15 - 0 Neem seed meal 6 - 1 - 2 Bio-Fish meal 7 - 7 - 2 (derived from fish, bone, feather, alfalfa, kelp meals I also have a nice bag of chicken/turkey shit/piss bedding... well composted Is there anything else I should add to this mix? planning on running a few grows through this soil
also if someone could give me a good starting measure for these and how much is too much? any help would be appreciated.. Thanks for taking the time.
Looks like you're missing an aeration component like perlite or rice hulls, etc... Have you read the "organic soil for beginners" and the "no-till" thread? It's a boat load of reading, but your questions are answered in there.
p.s. - what has helped me a lot is keeping a notepad window open and copy/pasting stuff in it so I don't forget. It's a quick reference for later when I have questions. Won't work if you browse from a phone though.
