so i have been looking for info to supplement my method of "converting" bho into something most pens can use. Tinctures are neat and straight drip variable voltage systems seem pretty reliable. I have a method i use frequently to use bho in my epen and wanted to see what people think about the final result. First time posting but here goes! 1. Start witha gram of bho, your favorite e-cig juice and a coffee mug of boiling hot water. 2. I use a spare glass vial or one of the needle tipped bottles.. Using the needle point bottle, add a little bit of vape juice and bath warm. the now warmed bho is added to the vape juice and gently shaken to combine. Once the warm oil starts to mix add a small amounts of ecig juice until you have reached your pens holding capicity or you think you have enough. The less you add to the oil the better. The needle bottle can be bathed to rewarm the mix as needed. 3. My biggest challange was that once the mix cooled the bho wanted to recombine in the juice chamber of the pen and then clog the wicks. My solution was was to take some 99% iso-propenyl, rubbing alcohol, and using the needle bottle add a small drop or to to the warmed oil in the vial first. Once the iso thins the bho just a little bit it can be added to the warm vape juice and stayed broken up in the juice once mixed. Just a drop, less than an eyedropper drop. yes i know its not supposed to be used like that and dont advise anyone else do it... 4. Once mixed and still warm add to your cartomizer and close it up. Give it a minute or two for the wicks to take to the mixture. I warm the whole thing by putting my cartomizer in a sandwich bag and bathing it in the mug of warm/hot water. So there is my procedure. It hasnt failed me yet and works with any pen i have tried. I have used this in the lobby of a crowed fast food restraunt lobby at lunch time! The iso as a thinner is strongly discouraged and completly optional. I find it very effective and necessary if I have a large wick surface. ( they seem to grab the bho and not let it go) ill take any feedback, let me know how this sounds or works out for you! Happy vaping!!
