I have been living in the Sonoran desert for 3 years now and until today had never seen a tarantula. I went out this morning and was waiting for the Solo to come up to temp. I saw something move under a large sage bush in my back yard. It was hard to see and I thought it was a lizard. A few minutes later a humming bird lands on the feeder and that darn spider jumped at the humming bird just missing him. Damn it was big and FAST!
