4 Weeks Flowering, Yellowing Leaves.

  1. Hey all, I am a first time grower. I only have this one plant that I started from a bagseed from some good mexican commercial. I think she's been looking good most of the time throughout the grow. I've got her in a mix of enriched top soil, mg moisture control, and perlite. I feed miracle grow cactus bloom according to the directions, although I think I could feed more. I water every day and feed every other. Buds are looking good for her age I think, but for about the last week starting at the bottom the fan leaves have slowly been yellowing then falling off. It started at the bottom and is moving up. New growth looks good though. I'm pretty sure it's not a n shortage, I'm 4 weeks into flower. I've read it's normal for some strains but I really have no idea on this plants genetics except it's proly a hybrid. Also read it might be a magnesium shortage. Thinking I might have at most 4 more weeks of flower, but I dunno. Any suggestions would be most appreciated. uploadfromtaptalk1435873154952.jpg uploadfromtaptalk1435873170322.jpg

  2. If you are watering everyday then you are watering way too much. Only water when she needs it like every 3 to 5 days. You are also over feeding. That's probably whats turning you leaves yellow. I couldnt get your pics to load so I can't help as far as that goes.

  3. Hello there, I'm going to say this to you now because when others read this they might not keep on saying it to you. Don't grown with miracle grow anything.
She could have a nute burn, you might want to water her every second or third day and maybe you should cut the miracle grow feed in half or just start to flush since u only have around 4 more weeks.
I really don't know tho...what's the temp in the room with lights on? What's you humidity?

I seen the leaves, there a nice canary yellow....but healthy looking as far as I could see, bottom up...like not one brown spot.

  5. Thanx Trichuk for the advice. You think I could be putting too much nutes? As for the watering, I water everyday now because I water about a quart, half on morning half in afternoon and the soil is always dry. As for miracle grow, I wanted to go budget and the 3 stores I shopped at were walmart home depot and lowes. Miracle grow pretty much owns a big chunk of the market at all 3 of these stores. So I went ahead and bought the mg moisture control and the perlite along with a bag of enriched top soil which I figured would help to cut the effects of the mg ingredients. Also, there are amber colored balls filed with liquid in the mg moisture control, I'm pretty sure this is the time release pellets. As I was mixing my soil I took as many of those as I could out. As for temp, it's hot I know, proly somewhere in the 80s. I'm actually gonna go spend 10 at wally world and getta thermometer right now, so I'll let you know.

  6. Ok I did some research and I think you have a variegated plant...you should look that up. Nothing to worry about..it could be a good thing if your a connoisseur. Variegated plants grow a little slower then regular plants and will yield a little less...but from what I've read, the smoke is AAA quality.
I'm thinking you do have to water that often, try every second day...not because you have yellow leaves...but because it gives your plant some much needed time to use the nutrients and water.

  7. I hope you cloned that plant!!

  8. I don't think the plant is a variegrate, although that would be freakin awesome. There are some low shoots that I would like to just cut off for clones. They aren't doing much anyways. But if I did that, because of my setup, I'd have to run them 12/12 too, which I think is doable. Maybe I should just prune them on the general principle. uploadfromtaptalk1436138785136.jpg
