U.S. Navy Yard is on lockdown after an active shooter was reported at the Navy Yard in D.C. around 8 a.m. EST Only two years after the deadly shooting that took the life of 12 people and injured 3 by lone gunman Aaron Alexis. Ambulances are arriving at the scene but no confirmed casualties as of yet. Could be a false alarm. Apparently a security guard reported two suspicious people and someone called in to report an active shooter on location.
Yea its just been on the midday news here. Hope its just a false alarm. Had enough attacks this week. Although i reckon it will get worse. Parliment is currently debating stepping up air strikes against ISIS. Spose its only to be expected.
The news is just now reporting that it was more than likely a false alarm. Probably fireworks. It's the week of Independence Day after all.
