Beginning to use marijuana for bipolar disorder

Discussion in 'Medical Marijuana Usage and Applications' started by EdwardTheBonobo, Jul 2, 2015.

  1. Hello.

I have bipolar disorder. I am starting to explore the use of marijuana to manage it.

I have done some research, and I think I know roughly what I'm doing.

But I am in a nation where advice on the use of medical marijuana is not easily available. I would welcome some more knowledge, and to share experiences.

Would anyone like to chat about it, and/or direct me to some sources?

    Thanks.

  2. Thanks. I have Drs, and they do a good job. They engage with me fully on prescribing choices.

What I *don't* have is access to up-to-date information on medical marijuana.

Currently I am well. I want to stay that way through a busy time of setting up a consultancy business and being politically active.

  3. Are you in a country where Google's not available either, because that's where I'd direct you. Search up "ways to get high on weed"

get/use a vaporizer to consume/inhale your cannabis. edibles are good too but can be very strong on you if not handled correctly. start out small and try and keep your tolerance as low as possible ( use the least amount of medicine possible to handle your condition). once you are accustomed to cannabis switch out your cannabis strains on the regular so the differing molecular profiles of the active medicinal ingredients ( cannabinoids) in each strain of plant act differently upon your person when newly introduced to your self each time you medicate. have respect and rejoice that there is a plant that helps you feel health when you did not feel it prior.
