Has anybody here ever made golden Dragon with their abv? I'm gonna start a run tonight for my friend with CF. Just wondering if anyone has had good results? I seen over at FC a bunch of people have had some pretty good success with it.

I've made a few batches. It's really disgusting taste wise, but strong as hell. Now this reminds me that I have a bottle in my cupboard that needs to be strained.
What method do you use? I've read a couple different ways. One requires freezing and it's done in a couple days the other is done in about a month.
I throw it in a jar and label the date. I leave it for a minimum of a month, in a dark cool cupboard. This recent batch is from Apr I believe. I use a standard Mason jar, fill up about a quarter of the way with abv and leave it. I find after 4-5 months, there is nothing beneficial. The freezer method I have tried, and was not impressed. The way I do it, a shot or a tablespoon gets you wrecked. I don't reduce the alcohol in it either, you could if you wanted to though. I use Bacardi 101 as its the highest proof I can get in Canada. I mix it with oj or a light fruit juice, maybe 1 cup of juice to 1 shot of alcohol, it takes the taste.
That's good info Mark. I appreciate it. I'll test potency in about a month then. My friend was an avid vaper, but even the vapor is causing him problems now so I hope this shit works out for him. Thanks!
If you remember being a kid making jello shots with vodka, you can do that with tincture or dragon as well. I assume you could do some candy as well, but I've never tried.
