Firefly Vaporiser - best technique for big clouds

Discussion in 'Vaporizers' started by Hedley, Jun 29, 2015.

  1. After recently getting the Firefly, I've found I'm getting hits but they're not big hits. Also, I'm not always seeing vape clouds.
Rather like the MFLB, I think there may be various techniques for inhaling to get the best out of your herb.

Since herbs are different, there may be a variation in the amount of vape clouds they produce. However, I wonder if there is a particular technique out there which ensures a reliable hit when you use the Firefly.

  2. You said in another thread, "I think vaporisers shouldn't combust their material else they're not proper vaporisers."

If that is what you think, why did you get a FireFly being that, according to you, it is not a proper vaporizer?

And in regards to your question in this post, you may be better served to go into the following thread to get your answers>>>

    (......this could be interesting.....)

  3. I doubt you'll get a response. Everytime I point out one of his extremely flawed posts he just ignores it. Straight ignorant shit right there.

  7. There is a learning curve when taking in draws with the Firefly. I think you need to adjust your drawing technique based on the quality of your herb.
Some herb may vape at lower temps while other herbs may be drier and vape at higher temps. I wonder if this is what others think?

Also, despite the device getting hot around the heating chamber, you can take longer draws on your herb than with the MFLB.
The ABV is lighter coloured compared to the MFLB and so should be better for edibles. Although I wonder if I should vape the ABV more until it is much darker.

I did actually combust part of the herb after I'd taken about 4 draws and then opened up the Firefly and stirred the herb. Like the MFLB, I ground the herb finer with my fingers and took another deep draw.
Some particles of the herb combusted. So I'll need to draw less strongly once the weed is finely ground.

  8. Herb will vape differently based on a number of factors including, but not limited to quality, cure, indica, sativa, etc..
