You're kidding, right? You do realize that HRC, Amnesty International and several other activist organizations not only condemn these acts but are fighting for laws that grant asylum to LGBTQ people living in intolerant countries. LGBTQ people across the nation called for the boycott of chic-fil-a and other companies that gave money to the organization and men who helped draft the "Kill-The-Gays" bill in Uganda and other African nations. Which most of you don't even know about because you all have your heads up your asses. We also fought to boycott the Russian Olympics because of Russia's anti-gay crackdown but once again no one was listening or even caring. We raise hell over Iran's practice of executing gay men. We vote consistently against politicians who turn a blind eye to the intolerance and hate your article talks about. I doubt very seriously openly gay Muslim men would join ISIS. That's an automatic death sentence. The writer of the article's wild claim that shunning and intolerance of gay Muslims COULD (notice the word "could") drive them to fight for ISIS is asinine. The U.K. has far more progressive and evolved protections for LGBTQ folk than the U.S.. They're not "driven" to do anything. What ISIS is doing is trying to root out the closeted gay people in their ranks. These people are hiding for good reason. To be gay in that culture of intolerance and hatred is a death sentence. I seriously doubt the people they have killed so far are even gay. Someone said they were and ISIS executed them regardless of the truth. The men murdered were young and unmarried. That drew suspicion and like any witch hunt the innocent died along with the guilty. What a stupid article.
