Cleaning my perc

Discussion in 'Bongs, Dab Rigs, Bubblers, Water Pipes' started by KushOrDie, Jun 25, 2015.

  1. I've got a ROOR percolater, but unfortunately I've had a ball of resin clog up the dome so I can't hardly take in anything. I want to clean it out with isopropyl alcohol, but it's also hard to shake up as I have a broken stem joint. Any advice would be fantastic

  2. If you want a "shakeless" cleaning solution you can try PBW (powdered brewery wash)

more info on it can be found here :

  3. I always clean my glass with salt and 75% isopropyl alcohol.

  4. Hey man just get some bong cleaner at your local headship its only like 10 bucks.. But that's not a real ROOR just to let you know, they don't make any bongs with percolators

  5. Well either way, its still a pain in the ass lol. I got it cleaned for the most part. Had too much other stuff to do this past week though insteaf

  6. Hello I have had an altercation with my roommates dad and he melted a plastic bottle in the top of my bong. I got most of the bottle out but what i cant get out is what dripped on the ice catcher and top of the first perc. I was wondering if anyone would know how i should go about getting the plastic out.

  7. maybe try to re-melt it inside and scrape it out? idk really otherwise

  8. So you still use this even with the fuct joint?

  9. Yeah. It works perfectly fine otherwise

You don't even have to shake a lot I just completely fill mine let it sit and than you will only to shake a few times rather than 5 minutes of continues shaking. If there's like a nug clogging it I have no idea because when I had a perc like that I couldn't get one piece out for the life of me and I would clean it weekly.

  11. I usually stuff a paper towel in the joints and top so I can shake it with nothing coming out. You can probably try that on the broken joint

  12. I like the paper towel idea that angel said, or just use gloves or something so you don't cut yourself..

  13. Next time clean your piece more frequently to avoid this problem.
