Newbie and need info about Indacas?

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by Oregoniannewbie, Jun 24, 2015.

  1. I just started smoking and have been high about 4 or 5 times in the last week. I got some from a friend and pretty sure that I have been using an sativa. I am getting really high with just a big single hit. Some pretty trippy stuff :) I am curious to know how much different the high is when you smoke some indica. I haven't ever smoked indica, and would really like to know what you guys say about it. I have heard Indica's will make you sleepy. the sativa im using makes me high as shit, If I smoke some indica will it make me flip out "Paranoid etc.". Just have no idea what to expect vs sativas. Thanks for any info.

  2. There's not much of a difference, between Indica and Sativa... If you tell someone this they're smoking indica, when really they're smoking sativa, they won't really know the difference tbh... :p

The only thing i've noticed, is that from really dominant indicas, my chest/stomach/legs feel heavier... While on Sativa my eyes and face feel heavy...

  3. There is a HUGE difference between indica and sativa. they are two completely different sub species.

basically - sativa is uplifting and helps fight depression and helps with having a productive time while high

while indica incurs appetite(munchies) and makes you lazy and couchlocked and just stoned
most street weed is indica because indica is easier to grow under the illegal conditions cannabis is under

  4. I can tell right away, my wife was suppose to load an Indica and loaded a Sativa into my portable. My heart was racing within the first couple of hits. I usually smoke before bedtime so it made it interesting to try to sleep right away. We have some hybrids that are "Mostly this or mostly that" and they are kinda hard to tell which is supposedly dominate.

  5. I'm pretty sure I am have been smoking sativa. One of the things I notice a lot of people have been saying is that Sativa will be a more energetic high. To me I'm defenetly not getting a energetic feeling. I just sit on my bed and try and focus on one thing at a time. I get 4 or 5 different conversations in my head. I don't wanna get off my bed, but that could just be because im alone and I am new to the high experience. I don't get tired or feel the couchlock. I don't want to try indica and think that my face is melting or not being able to more at all. :) Thanks for any more suggestions or comments.

  6. Indica doesnt make it feel like your face is melting. The user likely meant it not literally at all. Indicas great for an occasion, it just depends what it is. 100% sativas do not exist, almost never. Hybrids are the most common - a cross of both subspecies. you're likely using hybrid.

  7. Anyone that thinks there's such a big difference in sativa and indica doesn't know what they're talking about. Everything nowadays is just designer hybrid strains anyway. It's all roughly the same with hints of different aspects to the high, usually having no consistency in "indica = couchlock, sativa = heady".

I've been stuck smoking the same strain for weeks sometimes, in those weeks I'll have both couchlock and energetic highs. I've taken indicas out for 30 mile bike rides and passed out face down uncontrollably from sativas. Just smoke and be happy.

I think it has way more to do with your energy level and just how you're feeling that particular day, mood, etc...

  8. in good strains there is a very noticeable difference in higher % sativas or indicas.

u can smoke afghan kush and go biking but it's not the ideal strain for it, at the end of the day it is down to the person how they choose to handle their activities while high, it certainly influences a bit though
