It's been a little over a week, about 10 days I believe maybe less, since I put my germinated seed into a mix of Miracle Gro and organic soil and it has yet to sprout. But when I looked at it the root got a bit bigger and fatter though the very end looks kinda shriveled but it might just be my eyes playing tricks on me. Do you think its just a late bloomer or maybe I should hold off on watering???
Pulling it out wasn't a good idea. If it was going to sprout it'd have the best chance while being left in the soil. Tap roots are delicate, and also usually much more white in color. Miracle Grow isn't usually used for weed either and may have burned the thing to death (too much nutes for it). Have any other seeds to start? If you still want to try and make it live, put it back in the soil. Give it water when needed so it doesn't dry up and die. My best guess is this one isn't going to make it though, sorry to say.
Why on earth would it ever be sitting in your hand and not be in the soil? "a mix of Miracle Gro and organic soil " Isn't that an oxymoron? lol
