Chances of a vaporizer pen exploding?

  1. So a couple of days ago I got the "Pana Thunder" vape pen, which looks like this.

I got it for under $10, and knowing my model was cheap and obscure I did some research to make sure I wasn't getting a model that could potentially be hazardous (worried that cheap parts could start fires, etc.) I couldn't find anything particular about dry vape safety, but I started finding several stories about e-cigs and tobacco vapes exploding, dripping, and shooting flames across the room and it got me concerned. However, I couldn't find anything about Ago G5 units or anything like that. What are the chances of a dry vape pen exploding (either while charging, in my hands, etc.)? Has anyone here experienced a vape pen explosion? The precautions I know so far are to take are plug it in a wall socket, use the charging equipment that comes with it, and not to let it charge for too long.

  2. Don't use any third-party accessories such as another battery and it won't explode.
