  1. So without hearing anything about gavita  ePapillon or any other double ended compatible ballast or setup I would like to know if anyone is using the new solis tek ballast. It is suppose to be up to PAR with the other DE compatible equipment (minus the Gavita that accepts a 400V Phillip's bulb, can compete with that) as I know a bit about electricity and 400V shouldn't be used in residential as the power running into most houses is setup for up 240V max I wouldn't trust running 400V in a non commercial setup. So back to my original question Does anyone have a solis tek ultra high frequency 1000W V2.0 SE/DE ballast. I know they are fairly new but I hope to hell someone knows because I just bout a solis tek DE set up because I didn't want to mix and match parts especially when it comes to electronics that get hot enough to burn down my house.

  2. i run all solistek i wouldnt worry just use all solistek ballast bulbs ect. you can run a splitter and use 2 bulbs at once. they Alan and Alvin (owners of ST) are releasing 600 watt double ended bulbs soon!!!

  3. Yes I did see those and they are currently available. I saw them on the website I bought my reflector and bulb the day after. I was going to go for the 600W but I found a V2.0 1000W ballast on ebay for 185 with free shipping so that was a no brainer. I think he still has a few left to!
