This would be my first grow, and i'm wondering if i could just use a red solo cup from start to finish and instead of using nutes and stuff could i just use regular bottled water from seed to finish might not grow as fast or big but would it in the end still be alive im planning on making like a 12"x12"x18" grow box with a small computer fan or two and a desk lamp with a fluorescent light but how would i take care of the smell in my room? And how long does it take til the plant starts to smell?

And how long does it take til the plant starts to smell? It depends on the strain, but when they start flowering they can smell a lot.
Thanks for help and i might grow it in the box til the fall or it outgrows it then im gonna put it outside so it can flower naturally
IMO i would Use LST and keep her tied down to fit ur box so u don't run the risk of pollination unless ur sure that there's no other grower nearby who may have missed a male
