Morning after effects from weed?

Discussion in 'Seasoned Marijuana Users' started by freeURmind, Jun 21, 2015.

  1. Wanted to see if I'm not alone here...

I smoke/vape about 2-3 times a week, and it seems whenever I smoke the next day I often wake up very congested in my nose and throat. Although this is a very temporary side effect, (I get over it within a couple hours) it still made me curious. After I bought a vaporizer I tend to use it more often now as it either significantly diminishes this effect the next morning or gets rid of it all together. I also run Track and it's sometimes is frustrating not being able to train to my full potential if I toke the night before.

So I'm wondering... Do you guys ever experience after effects in the morning following a sesh? And It doesn't have to be through a smoking apparatus!

  2. Personally no, I smoke every night and it never happens.

  3. You just have congestion when you wake up. The vape helps because vapor is used to clear congestion.

  4. Wish it was that easy... I never have severe congestion problems unless smoking is involved. I'm starting to think the smoke just exacerbates the condition. Thank you for the feedback!

  5. It might be the weed you have. You gotta get the good shit

  6. LOL I've had this ever since I started toking. I live in BC so no problem there [IMG]

  7. sounds like allergies.

  8. I wake up alert and refreshed because I just slept like a log.

  9. I usually have to use the bathroom a lot because of all the food that I hate when I was stoned lol

  10. lmao. This is me also. I'm never congested but sometimes I feel kinda hungover for a little bit.

  11. Me to thought it was only me.

  12. Same here, but if I smoke a bit too much I get a headache from sleeping to much. I get those whether I've smoked or not.

  13. i get this strange cloudy headed feeling. Its not exactly a bad feeling unless you have to go do somthing productive. I dont pay it much mind. I just wake and bake and problem solved lol

No, I usually smoke as soon as I wake up too. I use hash oil though. When I smoke the flowers I get black tar shit in my throat and my nose. Fuck weed, hate that shit. It's like making your body an ash tray. I used to smoke flowers with no problem but not anymore. Maybe try some concentrates? They'll be cheaper in the long run if you're a lightweight like it seems! I never have had a problem with concentrates. They're all around better except my window seal has dab marks All over it because I always set my dabbed down there. About the only down side of oil.

  15. Usually I feel slightly stoned but no sickness or harsh throat when I wakeup. If I smoke directly before sleeping (like within 2-3 minutes) and don't get time to cough and clear my lungs, it stays overnight and I wake up coughing a lot. Maybe try clearing your lungs/throat before you sleep every night?

  16. No congestion issues for me but I do tend to get up during the night to urinate when I am smoking because I drink more water when smoking weed.

  17. As above, my only complain about weed 2 hours or earlier before bed is the bad breath from dry mouth the next day.

Its almost unavoidable for me to not have bad breath while smoking bongs.

Might be better with a vape, but every vape ive had has been shit... I want something with a kick. Was going to build a soldering iron one, but havent got there yet :) irons here, in bits... Just not assembled into something yet :)
