Hello everyone and welcome to my no-till journal. I've been growing cannabis for about three years now I think. Almost all my knowledge I've gained is from this community, I absolutely could not have done it without all the great minds at grasscity. Now that I've transitioned fully to organics and no-till in particular, I felt it warranted the creation of a new thread.

So this is my first round no-till growing both indoors and greenhouse. I'm using soil by KIS organics. The ingredients are as follows:

Alaska Peat Moss, Oly Mountain fish compost, KIS Microbe Catalyst, Volcanic Pumice, Gaia Green Canadian Glacial Rock Dust, Cascade Minerals Basalt, Calphos Soft Rock Phosphate, Pacific Pearl Oyster Shell Powder, Organic Alfalfa Meal, Organic Fish Bone Meal, Organic Crustacean Meal, Acadian Kelp Meal, Ahimsa Organics Neem Cake, Organic Fish Meal, Organic Feather Meal, Organic Steamed Bone Meal, Natural Calcite, Ag Lime, Mycorrhiza*, and Benefical Microbes.

Sometime I'm going to get around to mixing my own soil based on Blue Jay and CC's recipes.
My old thread can be found here: http://forum.grasscity.com/indoor-grow-journals/1220827-perpetual-lst-scrog-dingus.html
My grow consists of three indoor setups and one greenhouse. I have some other gardening spaces but they are sans-cannabis. These spaces are: four window sills and a hügelkultur in progress.

    1. Let's begin with my greenhouse. Its actually not done yet but is complete enough for use. Its dimensions are 10x10, 12' high on the tall side and 8' on the short side.

My indoor setup is a lot smaller. I started out micro growing and I've upscaled a little bit since then [IMG]
    2. Next is my closet setup which is roughly 6x2x5 (LxWxH). In it is mounted two 96x3w mars hydro reflector LEDs, a 4" inline exhaust fan, a normal fan and a ghetto cooler intake.

    3. Next is my first setup I ever built, a grow cabinet measuring 3x1.5x3. It houses two pc fans and two 23w CFLs. This cabinet is currently out of commission for the summer.

    4. Lastly is my second grow cabinet, coming in at 1.5x2x2.5. It also has two PC fans but only a single 23w cfl. I use this cabinet for starting seeds.

  2. In the greenhouse I have six plants. Three individuals in 5 gallon no-tills and one 15 gallon no-till with three plants in it.

The genetics outside are by the breeder Hybrids From Hell. They specialize in making fast flowering outdoor genetics for northern latitudes and moldy areas. This is the first time I've ran their genetics so it will be interesting to see what happens. This is only my second season growing outdoors.

I live in the PNW in a very humid microclimate. Last year my plants grew very well until October came and brought the rains with it. I lost 3/4 of my yield to mold. The largest colas were the first to go which was deeply saddening. Last year I was using the genetics I had on hand, none of which were outdoor rated.

This year I'm hoping to harvest before September so hopefully I will finish before the rainy season begins again.

    First is leb27v2

    Second we have monk #2
    1434591578466.jpg 1434591594717.jpg

    Third is monk#1
    1434591681560.jpg 1434591702308.jpg

Lastly is the tri-pot. In it are two monks and one danishgold. 1434591739809.jpg 1434591755210.jpg 1434591770082.jpg

I'm pretty sure all of these are flowering. The tri-pots were started in the baby cab and put into 12/12 early to sex them. After I culled the males and transplanted those three outside I was hoping they would go back into veg but it seems they want to keep flowering. The solstice is coming up, I was pretty sure they would veg more but I was mistaken.

The three big ones are definitely flowering and all are seeded as well. I started those indoors in the baby cabinet and moved them to the LED closet. In the closet I pollinated with three or four males I don't really remember but my goal was to use all four strains I got from HFH to keep all the genetics around, even if it is as one big clusterfuck genetic orgy of multiple dads per mom. Monk#1 is heavily seeded compared to the other two, I'm not sure why but the others didn't seem to take the pollen nearly as well.

In the greenhouse I also have a bunch of other plants. Three kinds of tomatoes 1434592043187.jpg

    Spearmint & lavender 1434592075477.jpg 1434592090220.jpg

Two little pepper plants 1434592144472.jpg and a sunflower which I seem to have forgotten to photograph.

  3. In the LED closet I have two 15 gallon no-tills. Each have two plants growing in them. The genetics are golden ticket x Jesus og and somango.

GTxJoG -- the tall plant on the left, sharing a pot with somango#2.

In the other no-till is another somango#2 sharing a pot with somango#3. The somangos are clones from my previous round indoors, I had three phenotypes and I chose to keep around 2&3.

You can see these four plants in my first post of this thread in the photos of the closet.

In the baby cabinet I have genetics I made last summer and a bagseed afgoo. The genetics I made last summer in the old greenhouse were just a wonderkush male pollinating all my other genetics. I had three wonderkush females, two bagseeds I dubbed mystery3 and mystery4 (which will be abbreviated from now on as M3 and M4) and Kandy kush. So the plants in the baby cabinet are 1x Afgoo, 1x wonderkush, 2x kandy kush and 2x M3. So far I've determined the afgoo, wonderkush and one kandy kush to be female.

Here's some photos of my other non-canna grow spaces. Not sure why the hugelkultur photo is upside down...

I'm delighted you guys made it [IMG] it's about to be dank in this thread! As soon as I can be sure I no longer have thrips in my closet that sucker is going into flowering. Then I'll have both indoors and outdoors flowering at the same time!! Should be one hell of a harvest come fall. [IMG] I haven't seen a thrip for almost a week now. Today is a spray day.

  7. Subbed in for the time being!

This afgoo may be a bagseed but it's no joke on frost. Its been about 1.5 weeks since I changed the baby cab to flowering to sex them.

Edit: even though I just got a new phone with a wayyy better camera in it, it seems when uploading from the app the quality goes way down still.. I'm gonna upload these from the computer tomorrow and see the difference.

Okay here are the same photos from yesterday but uploaded from my computer instead.

Edit oh my now they're sideways and huge...

Edit: ok lets try this again by first uploading to the gallery and then linking it to here...

Edit: ok that worked to get the quality up on the computer. But on the app version when I try to view these pics it gives me the option of either view in gallery or follow link. View in gallery gives me even shittier quality, thumbnail version and follow link sends me to who knows where [IMG] weird random threads throughout the forums, definitely not to my gallery... honestly what the hell.

Posting from the app --> low ass quality.
uploading from gallery on computer --> higher quality on computer but on the app trying to view it is even worse quality.... [IMG] I can't catch a break it seems.

  14. You know it jay! I spied some of the first frost on the outdoor girls today. Pics in a sec!

speaking of pics do you notice much difference between the photos i uploaded from the app or the computer? Also do you have the same issue i'm having with the "follow link" on the app with the ones I uploaded from the computer? I'm trying to figure out which is better: posting from the app or from computer..

  15. Use the computer.

  17. Thanks for the 0.2$ jerry [IMG][IMG] I think what I'm going to do is use the computer for close up photos where detail is specifically required but the app for most everything else. A couple of the photos in the post above are much better on my phone and would be much better from the computer. It's still bothersome to me that the photos i upload from the computer aren't able to be viewed from the app [IMG]

  18.
I didn't mean to come off so terse. I know the GC app works one way on my phone, and differently on my tablet. So I usually use the phone for pics, and flip them to the PC either via USB or with the ES File Explorer app over my LAN. Than way it avoids extra "Processing" for wireless upload over a phone, which will try and adjust them to save bandwidth.

If I upload via the apps, I get the same issues you do. I always upload to the post, and add the pics. Then, I might refer to the stored pics in the My Media in other forums, unless I'm just showing off.   [IMG]
