Mass Effect is one of my all time favorites. Today's trailer was amazing, wish we could of had more on the story though.
Since the recent announcement of backwards compatibility with the XBone, seems like I'll be playing through the Mass Effect trilogy again. Was hoping they'd announce some sort of definitive Commander Shepard collection for the Xbone and Ps4, but oh well.

E3 has been packed with surprises. Hopefully we'll get to hear more about Mass Effect: Andromeda in the coming months.

Hope everyone else is just as excited to get back into the Mass Effect universe.

The soundtrack to the Mass Effect series was my favorite. Probably of all time.

I really hope the new game has personality. I hope there are tons of dialogue options and paths to take.

  5. Ill be buying a multi-TB external HDD for backwards compatibility. Mass Effect re-play through will be high on the list:)

  6. Yeah I'm doing the same thing pretty soon. I'm pretty much out of room, and there is a TON of games I need to get.

  7. Do you need an invite to the Preview program?
They didn't make it clear enough only a select few can play the 20 or so backwards compatible games available right away. I should be in the program though, I can send you an invite if you want.

  8. I'm not a preview program member so I'm not sure how it works. If you can send invites I'll gladly accept hahah

I found out about it yesterday. Apparently it takes a few days for the invite to process, I am still waiting for it myself.

What's your XBLive gamertag? I got the invite today into the Preview Program so I can send you an invite right away.
Take in mind it might take more than a day for the invite to process. Mine took 2 days. I've heard it could take 3.
So worth it though. We get to preview a lot of stuff a few months earlier than anyone who isn't in this program. Not just the backwards compatibility.

There seems to be no limit on the invites for this Preview Program, so this applies to any blade that wants an invite into the program. Just message me your  XBLive gamertag.

^ Even though the first trailer for Andromeda was great and all, nothing beats the Take Back Earth trailer for Mass Effect 3.

  12. Really cool to see/hear new stuff about the next Mass Effect game. I'm a huge fan of the series (ME2 was my favorite). I've played through all the games multiple times (I think I've played ME2 6 times).

I think it would be cool to have some planets more open for exporing like in ME1, although that would mean lower grapic quality at least the environments wouldn't have to be as baren as in ME1.

The music of the Mass Effect games is some of my favorite video game music of all time.

  13. Sorta relevant, mass effect is going to be (or already is?) backwards compatible on the Xbox one

  14. Yeah I finally got myself into the Preview Program so I can start playing me some Mass Effect again.
Hopefully they'll put the other two up soon.

  15. Instead of buying the Digital copy of Mass Effect 1 for $20 I decided to check how much a copy on Ebay was going for.
Just bought Mass Effect 1 & 2 physical copies exactly for $20.
Hopefully Mass Effect 2 is playable sooner than later.

  16. Bought a copy of Mass Effect 3 today for $6. Couldn't pass up that offer. Can't wait till the other two are available for backwards compatibility.

I'm pretty stoked, but I'm still behind. I've only beat the first two and haven't played the third yet. If they try to bring Shepherd back in the fourth, it's going to completely kill it for me, though. That whole beating the dead horse thing bothers me. Also, as per my usual, I'll wait for reviews before I commit.

  18. Yeah I agree, no main focus on Shepard. Hell it'd be nice if there was a few nods here and there of course, but yeah I don't want to see him anymore either.
And Mass Effect 3 can't shake a stick to the first two. I mean it looked really impressive, and was great at first.
But that ending for such a massive game, felt so underdeveloped. No real boss fight. And 3 endings.
    Could of done better.

  19. My collection came today! Time to start binge playing the first one. I edited in the picture of my collection up on the first post.

  20. I never made my own Shepard. Don't think I'm going to again either.
This next game oh yeah I'll without a doubt make my own character. Unless the default is dope.
That and default Shepherd looks a lot like Jack from Lost.
