I'm making feminized seeds for the first time with colloidal silver 50ppm I'm just switching slowly switching it over to 12/12 light cycle now. The current light cycle is 17/7 but the plants are already showing sex , my question is do I start misting the plant down as soon as I know it's female or wait till it's on 12/12 ? Any info would be great thanks, also the female I have chosen I have already started misting.
I normally start misting about a week before I flip. Seems to speed it up slightly compared to starting after the flip.
Pokes is correct I'm spraying 2 weeks from the flip, tho mines a lot stronger than 50ppm, like 250ppm diy, like light tea!
within 5 days the plant started looking weired ...perhaps it was too strong, but I wanted it to be a good shot, cause actually measuring the ppm is very difficult as you really can't use a tdm meter... I was told to make it like light tea, but in fact it was a lot darker, see! the light actually makes the stuff weaker, so the act of spraying exposes it the the light, not enough science in the CS yet?
Flipped to 12/12 started spraying. Almost been 1 week no changes yet , only using the 50 ppm premade stuff so I'll See how it goes
Have you seen any male flowers yet? Some people say it's weird you don't see male flowers till there are some buds then it starts producing male flowers
It worked , switched to 12/12 as soon as the plant shown it was female. Sprayed it for 2 weeks with 50 ppm and by the end of the two weeks it had male pollen sacks
