Connecticut the great liberal disaster

  1. Good old liberals. There like a train wreck of utter destruction. Connecticut is in quite a bind. As a state if you include the pension liabilities its near about 100 billion. Thats on the backs of about 4 million people.

Twenty years ago this fine state had a zero tax rate for income and did just fine.Flash forward to today and there the 3rd highest taxing state in the Union and the most indebted per captia.

There wonderful Governor is soon to tax corporations 20% and tax foreign earnings to apparently fix this along with another round of tax increases on its citizens. So you guys cheer and cry that your dream is finally happening. Mind you countless business's have already left that state due to its high tax environment which causes the state to bleed more. Its a very compounded effect since not only do you loose that company but all those people lose there jobs and you loose that tax source. Then they lose there house, car etc and you lose more of that precious dollar you cant suck enough down of.

The problem with doing this is the liberal left think the universe is static and no one will find a way out of this. The biggest employers in that state...General Electric, Aetna along with some others have already been in talks to move there operations. Primarily to my state that is running a surplus a large one with a half a billion dollars in the bank with zero income tax, zero corporate tax in most cases....Texas.

So when you wake up in your utter misery that is New England think of us down here in Texas...the number of companies that our Governor and past Governor has gotten relocated is astounding. Magpul out of Colorado was a big one. Magpul for you anti gunites is the number of accessory maker for all things AR-15. They told them not to pass that gun control bill and they did. Magpul moved to Texas and the majority of the 3000 people in Colorodo lost there jobs and Texans got it.

Also when your destitute, broke, poor we thank you for the jobs that seem to magically appear in this state. Then look in the mirror and remind yourself you voted for these idiots. Then again your constitution might be high on the issue so the legions of unemployed are not enough of a lesson. Keep it up.

Texas is so great, there's nothing to do there but make GC accounts even after you've been banned several times

  3.
Dunno about that but it is great. Jobs a plenty, 3% unemployment, roads all either rebuilt or under construction. Then I can go up to New England and see the libs in all there glory. Was actually up there a month ago. Sad state of affairs.

  4.
A state that will give you a felony record for less than a gram of hash is a piece of shit.

  5. Brzboy I hope you realize that from some of our perspectives you are aalso a "liberal"

From my perspective as a far right libertarian, the entire gop is liberal

  8. Fuck General Electric.

The greedy fucks barely pay any taxes.

The working class has to help fund the military, the elderly, infrastructure, and the social safety net but not GE. No they're excluded from that responsibility.

  9.

    Cons -

    big government for the masses

    no government for the elites

  10. so who do we really hurt by removing government?

  13. I'll take Connecticut over Texas any day. Texas is a shithole with their priorities assbackwards.

  14. We can all thank the BIPARTISAN efforts over the years to maintain and even expand a hopelessly irrational, rube-goldberg style tax system that's as fucking complicated as possible, with all the right loopholes for the elite.

Maybe we should stop making policies (tax and otherwise) that seem do everything possible to drive employment, wealth, and the ability to create wealth out of the country, while creating further conditions for flushing the nation down the socio-economic shitter.

  15. I hated Connecticut. It was a fine day when I moved after nearly two decades of getting raped by sky-high taxes.

  16. Fuck Texas and fuck conservatism. And also brzs are really slow cars

  18. I grew up in ct. My dad made me move to Texas when I was 17. I would go back in a heartbeat but I won't stay. I love the pizza there, I still haven't found anything comparable down here, but Texas is a great state to live. If only they wearnt dicks about weed here, but I guess that helps keeps outs some of the liberals huh lol.
But you know, it's a good place for some, and a bad place for others.

  19. America needs to wake up. There's planets that harbor intelligent life out there besides earth. People need to remove their stupid egos from the picture so that we can move on as a species. The issues you see on TV do not matter. Things like moving away from fossil fuels, self reliance, vigilance. It amazes me how lazy people are. But they think they're "doing something" by going to a job that contributes absolute nil to the world, by going back for secondary education when they don't even know why they are there. Jesus Christ I'm getting worked up, going to pull a grav. (Pull a toob where I come from)
